More info on Monday’s EP

Handle With Caution artwork

Things are starting to get exciting now, as it is just one day until recording, and we can finally reveal some information...

As you may know, songs recorded tomorrow will be My Definition, Seize the Day and One Way Ticket, if all goes smoothly. These songs have been picked because recording will take place at Turtle Studios in Wood Green, which, although cheap, is not the greatest quality, and the lead singles will be recorded at Ash Milton's studios later in the year.

Now some information you might not know. Tomorrow's three songs will be released on an EP, entitled Handle With Caution, which will be released on Monday the  25th of January 2010. This will be available to download free of charge and it will also include the album artwork and a short video made from some footage from tomorrow's session (if Mr Bar gets his way and I can edit and upload it in one day, fitting in Quins in the middle).

Some physical copies will be made but it is unlikely that these will be available to buy from the band, although I will update you on that later. We want this to be a proper EP, so you will not be able to download the songs individually, although you can stream them from the player on the right.

I hope to post tomorrow and update you of how recording is going, and you can get updates straight from the band on Twitter. Finally, I cannot be certain when the EP will be available to download, as we want you to be able to hear it as soon as we get the finished tracks back. They should be on the site by Monday evening at the latest, but there is a possibility that I will receive and upload them on Sunday evening.

See you back here on Monday.
