General Update
It's been a few weeks now since anybody posted an update so we thought it'd be a good idea to reassure you that we are alive and inform you of what's going on.
It's been mainly positive news, finalising arrangements for the gig at Heatham on Friday the 6th of November. As you will probably know, The Appeal are now scheduled to appear along with Episode, as long as they don't pull out at the last minute and act like utter dicks. The posters have been made and I have been talking at Finbar over the last few weeks as to how it should be advertised. (Yes Finbar, you can print them out). Even as I type, Finbar is enquiring (or he probably has forgotten to ask) about pricing, times and membership for the gig. You have no excuse not to go because it is dead cheap, you know the bands, and it'll be finished by 8:30 so Smith can get back home for his 9:00 bedtime.
Episode are still on the bill for the November band night, scheduled to play for half an hour (5 minutes in Heatham time). They are not playing October band night as it lands on Halloween, and Better Place isn't exactly the most gothic song there is.
I put a poll on the website, and already we've had 9 votes. (Impressive, I know). However, there seems to have been a bit of a misunderstanding. You're supposed to be voting for the best Episode song, not the worst. So why has somebody voted for Constriction. That's a bit like saying The Lovecats is The Cure's best song, whereas it is actually one of the worst songs. Yes, I really would rather listen to Airlock: The Soundtrack. Please tell us who you are, so Finbar can go and sort you out. Thanks.
The recording studio at Heatham House was fixed last month and Episode were promised they were third in line, so they could record the best ever song, Drowning. As ever, they're still waiting, obviously. I'm hoping we get it before Christmas, although that's a bit of a longshot.
In the 3 weeks, 0 days, 21 hours, 53 minutes and 27 seconds (no that doesn't update) you have until the gig, you can go and listen to Disintegration, which incidentally is being remastered on a special edition 3CD box set next spring, which you better all go and pre-order.
See ya at Heatham on the 6th of November,

New Features on the Site
We have added a couple of new features to the site this week, the ability to add gigs to your calendar and the ability to sign up for email updates about a particular gig.
Links to add each gig to your calendar will appear on each gig's page, but also on a dedicated page here, where you can also add an automatically updating calender to your Google Calendar.
Now you can sign up for email updates for each gig. This is recommended if you are going to the gig so we can inform you of line-up and time changes etc.
You can sign up on each gig's page:

- November Band Night at Heatham House - Sat 28th November 2009
Boycott Monday Pull Out of Joint Heatham Gig
Unfortunately Boycott Monday have had to cancel their appearance at the joint Heatham gig with Episode on November the 6th. The gig has not yet been cancelled altogether but we are looking to find a replacement band as soon as possible. Because Episode and Boycott Monday were the only bands confirmed to play, we will need to find another band or the event will be cancelled.
The gig has been removed from the 'Gigs' section in the column on the right but it's page will remain here.
If your band would be interested playing for at least half an hour at Heatham House on the 6th of November with Episode, please contact us or leave a comment as soon as possible.
Episodemusic.net Now Unblocked at OPS
The clue's in the title, I've changed stuff around so you can now go on the website at school. However the site will still not be accessible using the artmonk.co.uk domain at school.
